off I want to say that this is a tremendous honor to be able to interview
you today, I would like to thank you for taking time out of your schedule
to do this. Thank you, it is my pleasure. I normally shun the internet world in favor of the real world but I've met you and thought you were alright. How did you get into the wrestling business? I contacted Emile Dupree late in 1997 and started shortly after. You have spent a lot of time overseas, How is wrestling different in England than the Maritimes? Mostly the fans allow themselves to enjoy themselves. I have never understood why our local fans pay money to criticize a show. Can you name 2 or 3 guys that you think would have an impact on the Maritime scene from England? Robby Brookside, P.N.Newz, Nigel McGuinas and Doug Williams. Each of these guys are great but the lack of respect shown by the local talent for the business would drive them all mad. It is no secret that you don't like what is going on in the Maritimes right now, and I would like to give you this opportunity to say what ever is on your mind about the current Maritime Wrestling scene. When a person decides to peruse a career they should leave no stone unturned. Most of the current local talent not only look like pussies but I'm sure they are. Every wrestler should workout and should have some actual fighting skills. Most of these wieners would get beaten of overseas. When did things start to go wrong for you in the Maritimes? Things haven’t gone wrong for me. They have gone wrong for the fans. When you first heard about the Maritime Cup what were your original thoughts? I didn't ponder too much. I really didn't give a shit. Since guys like Chi Chi Cruz and Gary Williams have now worked for MSW, have your thoughts on the Promotion changed at all? I don't have any thoughts on the promotion, I’ve never seen their product. I’m sure Cheech and Gary had their reasons, they’re grown men. What did it mean to MSW to have the 18 year veteran Chi Chi Cruz in their ring? I guess it would mean a lot. What are your feelings on Johnny Wise guy being sent to prison? I don't know him so I don't care. Out of everybody you have been around, who has been the biggest influence on your career? Joe E. Legend without question. I was just with him in Germany. He has helped me a lot and I wish I had half his talent. As of November 15th 2003 how many matches have you taken part in? Don't know. I guess over1000. In what ways would you like to see wrestling changed? More characters, less chip'n'dales. How has wrestling changed for you over the past year? I make a lot more money. You mentioned to me about going to work for New Japan in the New Year. Could you tell the readers a little more about that? I have been contacted by New Japan and should be heading over soon. This is where I have wanted to go since day one. This promotion is totally suited for me. You had a WWE dark match in early 2002, you teamed with Bobby Rude against Tommy Dreamer and Kidman, how do you feel that match went? and do you think you'll be getting more in the future? I wasn't happy with my performance but that's life. I don't care to do more darks, New Japan is the highest paying promotion in the world and this is a business. Who do you feel is the top student that you have trained? Marc Roussel with honorable mentions to Duke and Vinny. Will we ever see Kingman wrestle in the Maritimes again? You'd be more likely to see me on a bodybuilding as I am in the best shape of my life and am considering a comeback in the next year. However we never say never in this job. Name Association Mike Hughes -Great friend, trustworthy, favorite tag partner. Bobby Rude -Great friend, best worker I know. Vance Nevada -Don't know him. Scott Savage -Don't know him. Lincoln Steen -Nice guy, marginal worker, grotesque body. Cinder -If I were to start a promotion he would be the first hired. Hard worker great attitude. The other green guys could learn from him. Vinny Glyde -I like Vinny and I'm proud to have been involved in his development. You better be in the gym you lazy little bastard. Devin Chittick - I've heard he has said some things about me but I don't play those games. I finished High School in 1985. What would be the sense, I could destroy 100 Devin Chitticks. Buddy Lane -Loyal friend and tougher than all the new guys put together. Warren Olsen -He owes me an apology for a message he left on my phone. I would never do business with him except maybe to lend money at a very high interest rate. Although he doesn't pay his bills, I would enjoy collecting. Brian Marchand -We clashed but he never lied to me. He didn't respect his staff in general. Sometimes when a skinny ugly guy assumes a position of power he tries to get revenge on the world. I’ve never understood that because we weren't the guys at his school who laughed at him or the girls who wouldn't fuck him. |
