It has been over three years since your last interview, how have you been?
Right now I'm fantastic! I had alot of problems, personal and physical, over the last 5 years but I've overcome them and I have arenewed passion for wrestling

The last we saw of you in the Maritimes was in 2003 when you wrestled for MSW, CPW and ECPW. How have you been keeping busy the past two years?
The last couple of years I slacked off, I was still wrestling but not at the level I know I can and have

Any plans on coming back to the Maritimes?
It's one of my all time favorite places to wrestle. It just depends on the promotion and their willingness to bring me in.

How did your trip to Japan go?
I loved the trip, I had alot of fun. I wish I could have spent more time there. I feel my match was the low point. I just wasn't 'on' that night

With the strong Canadian influence in TNA how come we haven't seen you in a TNA ring?
border problems, that should be cleared up very soon

In a interview I did with Joe E. Lengend he said you were lucky to not be involved with TNA, any thoughts on that?
Joe speaks his mind, at least he buried TNA, not me! LOL

Would you like to compete with TNA?
Sure, once I can go back to the States, I'll be knocking on their door

With all the Canadians you worked with and came up with you around the same time Benoit, Edge, Christian, Storm, Jericho & Don Callis that all had or have WWE contracts. Why do you think you were never signed to a WWE contract?
Timing. Bad timing. When they flew me to Stamford for a try out, it was extremely promising. Until I arrived and was told Benoit, Guerrero, Saturn, and Malenko just jumped over from WCW and no more contracts were available. So I ended up working out for 2 days with the biggest piece of garbage ever to lace up boots. That was early 2000. I got very depressed after that, and it took it's toll. I got looked at again, by Arn Anderson, in 2003. But the depression kept me from working out like I needed to in order to look like they want. Physically, I wasn't in good enough shape. Arn said I was very fluid
and he liked the way I worked though. I have beaten the depression and the other problems it brought on, and I am now more determined than ever to get another shot at WWE. This time I'll be more than ready.

Are you still defending the Real Action Wrestling title?
I don't have the actual belt anymore so it never gets mentioned

Did Emile Dupre contact you to wrestle for GPW this summer?
I talked with him but nothing worked out

As of August 29th 2005 how many matches do you have?
I'm not sure exactly but I think 2 to 3 thousand maybe

You had a series of matches with Tony Armstrong when you competed in MSW.
Tony was very new to wrestling at that time. How do you feel he conducted himself and how do you feel the matches went?
Tony was great, he showed alot of respect and eagerness to learn. He's a very funny guy too, getting naked and running around parking lots! I thought the matches were great! He stepped up to the plate when I told him he needed too. He has a good handle on being a 'big man'in the business.

During a show at Curley Portable's in Enfield, Nova Scotia a fan ran to the ring and grabbed you from behind, tell us what you were thinking when that happened?
It was a tag match, so at first I thought it was Gary or Steen, then I realized they were both in the ring. Well, I lose it, snap, fly off the handle (best Champ impression) Seriously though, that is scary, and I react violently when personally assaulted because I've been stabbed before when I didn't expect it, so you never know what can happen next. I consider my life on the line whensomeone attacks me.

What are your thoughts on the whole Ring Of Honor concept, the field of honor, the code of honor, pretty much promoting it's product as more of a sport, then sports entertainment?
I love the idea, I haven't seen any of their matches but the concept would play right up my alley as I love mat wrestling and working a more believable style

Have you even been contacted by Ring Of Honor to worked for them?
No

Have you ever talked to the wrestler in the United States that wrestles as Chi Chi Cruz?
Never

Is there anyone you haven't wrestled that you want too?
I would love to wrestle Flair, he's the best

Who do you enjoy watching wrestle?
Ric Flair, Shawn Micheals, Kurt Angle, Eddie Guerrero

If you could wrestle one person everyday who would it be?
That would get so boring after awhile that my mind can't process an answer. LOL

Who would you say is the top trainer in Canada?
Me

Any closing Comments?
If at first you don't succeed, don't give up. Everything happens for a reason. Don't let anything get you depressed, there is nothing worse. I could be living my dreams right now if I didn't lose sight of myself. That will never happen again, I am getting in the best shape of my life right now with more drive than ever. I have come back from carreer ending injuries. My arm was supposed to be amputated but I wouldn't let them because I believed in myself. Just because something happens that you didn't expect, doesn't mean give up. Sometimes people don't realize how close they are to their dreams when they quit trying.
