Hello how have you been?
I'm fine. Healthy and happy.

How was your recent trip overseas?

It was gruelling, but fun and profitable.

You have requested this time to speak your mind on a few subjects one of them being the current state of Maritime wrestling and another is that you are frustrated with alot of the wrestlers in Canada. What is bothering you?
I, along with others have been too quick to point my finger at the fans but as I think more deeply, the blame lies on the talant. Of the current crop, only Wildman really looks like a legit pro. A couple others have decent bodies but lack experince which makes them stand out as lower rate. Our guys need to spread their wings and get experience elsewhere while things are dead here....and get in the gym.

You have mentioned to me that you are upset with guys like Chi Chi Cruz and Synn for spending more time with their websites than wrestling. Can you comment further on that?
Not really upset but confused. These guys are really good and I should be seeing them on my trips abroad but they seem to be wasting time doing unproductive things. I like them both very much but careers are short and time can't be wasted.

Duke MacIsaac has been wrestling for four years and he is now going on his first international tour. Your thoughts on Duke and how he will do overseas.
It's a huge break for him and he'll do well. If I didn't think he was ready, I wouldn't have arranged it. Within a year he'll be all over the world and will get better with the higher level of talant to work with. I've heard good reports already. He'll need to learn to drink though to hang with the english boys.

Mike Hughes recently started to compete with New Japan Pro Wrestling. Your thoughts on that.
I spoke to him today and he has a good feeling about the future. They don't come any more talanted than the old Kowmark.

Why do you think Gary Williams hasn't travelled as much as Hughes or yourself?
By his own choice. Gary is a lowkey guy and loves his homelife. He loves to wrestle but prefers to sleep in his own bed. It's good for this territory because without him this territory if fucked.

You have also mentioned that your tired of wrestlers waiting for the phone to ring rather than going out and doing things for them self. Who were you talking about?
Most of them. I think some guys just want to say they're a wrestler rather than treat it like a career.

As mentioned before you were overseas this past summer, what did you think when you heard about the PWU abortion?
I was sickened. That little cunt knew he was over his head and chose to fuck people over. Luckily, nobody got an assault charge.

You are part owner of the ring that was left in New Glasow in a truck with the doors unlocked the day after the first show (the first of what was suppose to be three shows), how do you feel about that?
He still owes me and Mike rental money and he will pay it.....that's for sure!

From the stories that you have heard do you think the boys handled things the right way?
Yes they kept their heads on straight and thought of the fans first.....class act.

Would you have done anything differently?
Yes. I would have lost my temper, but that would not have helped.

How much do you think that hurt Maritime wrestling?
I think it is in a bad state anyway. Let's not forget that everyone wants to go back to 2001 when things were good....or were they. A lot of money was lost in 2001 so what do people want to recapture. Full time maritime wrestling is over.

With Real Action Wrestling having its first show at the end of September do you think they stand a chance at succeeding?
Unfortunately no. After all the MSW bashing, they are opening with a crew who has all worked for MSW.

The 2nd Maritime Cup drew 800 people to Kentville. Why was a follow up show not booked in Kentville?
Stay tuned. We've all had other commitments but we're mostly here now.

What is going on with Wrestling With Reality?
We are in some very big film festivals coming up and are still in talks with a very major network. Trash is working tirelessly and the rest of us are plugging away.

Did Emile Dupre contact you to wrestle for GPW this summer?
He had Buddy Lane call but I said no.

You have said that your upset with the "so called veterans" in the Maritimes. In your eyes who are the veterans in the Maritimes, and who are the "so called veterans" you are referring too?
Myself, gary and Mike are the only truely experienced guys here with gary being the only locally active vet. Most have an apathetic approach to the job. In any field, a pro is a pro 24 hours a day. Everyday, a pro does something to advance, be it a trip to the gym, an e-mail to a promoter......anything.

You have been very critical of Jeff Dupre, why?
He's an asshole who feels the business owes him a living because of his last name. He had a great opportunity to learn from Gary and Eddie but decided to act like a no it all.

There was alot of talk in the fall 2004, winter 2005 about a full time promotion starting up in the Maritimes, what happened to that idea?
I put together a plan with Tarsh and Mike and we all aggreed I would lose my shirt. If it don't make dollars, it don't make sense.

After a match with Tony Armstrong in June 2005 you seemed very angry, can you explain why?
I like Tony but he wasn't ready to perform. He's lucky I didn't rip that silly grin off his face.

You have also said that you have issues with with the way most of the up and comers are conducting themselves. Who? and what are they doing wrong?

I hate to see young wrestlers in the dressing room fucking around and not being fully prepared for a match. Also, some walk about acting cocky all day like they're in character when the fact is most of them can't beat eggs.

Your thoughts on where the future of the Maritimes is heading?
Nowhere for now.

Will we ever see Kingman in a ring in the Maritimes ever again?
Only in association with WWR.

Anything further you would like to say?
Thanks for the real questions.

Name Association

The Dice -doesn't stay in touch

Mike Hughes - We've had our ups and downs but remain friends

Zero - lots of potential and a go getter

Cinder - no comment

Vinny Glyde - Like a little brother to me, congrats on the wedding

Lincoln Steen - nice guy with natural timing in the ring

Scott Savage - very nice when I met him a couple of times

Gary Williams - the most honest guy I know, good friend

Tony Armstrong - I wish I could spend a year kicking his ass into shape

Duke MacIsaac - my work in progress

Paco Loco - very impreesed with his attitude

Chi Chi Cruz - I learned a lot from him early in my career. He leads by example.

Synn - looks great......get working

Eddie Watts - he was born to wrestle. Best mind I know. He is six inches away from being a millionaire.

Trash Canyon
- Intense man who gets things done. Very good friend over the last couple of years.

Cathy Yetman - She was a huge help with WWR and I'll always be indepted to her. And works very hard on all our websites. Thanks cathy.

Jeff Dupre - I'd like to thrash him like a rented mule.

Joe E. Legend - He has helped me a lot. I just did a tour of Wales with him and our matches were much better than our old maritime false finish fests. He speaks his mind and it has hurt him and I can relate to that as a fellow bigmouth.
