Hello sir how are you doing?
Very well, thank you.

WWR recently signed a national tv deal, can you give us anymore info on this?
The press release will be out in a day or two but yes we have been offered a national deal.

What does this mean for the fans of Maritime wrestling?
In a nutshell, we automatically become the biggest promotion in Canada.....by far. The sky is now the limit from a wrestling standpoint with all the exposure we will get. We do, however, intend to keep this a prodominantly Maritime promotion.

What did you take into consideration when picking the WWR roster?
We wanted some new faces, guys who feel comfortable on camera, guys who can wrestle and guys without egos who will toe the line and work for the overall product rather than thier own self interests.

Your thoughts on the newest group of wrestlers in the Maritimes the guys from IHW
They are without question, the nicest young men I have run accross. Good attitudes are very important in this job. Like any other job, do as your boss says and usually the best man will work up the ladder. They are young, talented and most importantly...IN THE GYM.

Will there be a WWR champion crowned?
Not yet....future episode.

Will more outside talent be brought in for future shows?
Absolutely.

What are some of the names you would like to bring in?
Bobby Roode, Brian Danielson, Petey Williams, Alex Shelly, Joe Legend, Chi Chi Cruz to name my top few

Your thoughts on the effort that most local guys put into getting booked else where?
What effort. That's laughable, unless asking me and Mike Hughes is an effort.

What can fans expect to see on Nov 25th?
The biginning of a new chapter in maritime wrestling history.

Any message for the people that doubt WWR will succeed?
Those opinions have no effect on us. We knew we would succeed from our first meeting in January. Failure was never an option.

Tell us alittle about your new valet
Martine was recently crowned Ms. New Brunswick in figure competition. She was trained by me of course and will be competing at the Atlantics on May 3rd in Moncton and the Nationals on July 1st in Edmonton.

Any message for your opponents Duke MacIsaac and Lincoln Steen?
I'm never out of shape but I'm in the best shape of my life now. Wildman is also in tremendous shape. Don't think about victory, or even looking good. Enjoy being part of a match with a great team like us and take your beatings like men.

Kind of off topic but for those that don't know you raise Grayhound dogs, can you tell us a little about how you got into this?
I don't raise greyhounds, I help rescue retired greyhounds from American racing tracks. My wife and I help our local greyhound adoption group find homes for new retirees. I have two of my own, Joe and Kaz.

Any closing comments?

Thanks to eveyone for all the support we have gotten. Our huge turnout for the Maritime Cup played a big roll in our recent network deal and we intend to give the fans many more high quality shows in the future.

Also a thank you to those outside of the WWR ownership who have worked as hard or harder than us; Cathy Yetman, Katrina Hockey, Zack Doyle, Ryan Mader, Ben McCully and Kent Robertson.
