In 2003 you wrestled on PPV for NWA-TNA with
a group called "The New Church", How was your time spent in TNA?
TNA gave me a lot of exposure and I'm thankful for that--- I met some very good
good friends and some even worse enemies at TNA--- To this day I am good friends
with Slash and Kid Kash--- They both met me at TNA and took me under their wings---
Kash (who doesn't get along with anyone) has been a constant big brother (even
though I'm like eight feet taller then he is!) They have both watched over me
and I appreciate them---
How come you are no longer wrestling there?
Wrestling politics!!! There are too many people at TNA with their own personal
agendas and they are not above sabotaging others to get what they want--- Egos
block out good inovative ideas--- I want to see TNA succeed so the the wrestlers
and wrestling fans can flurish--- I respect wrestling etticate and I'm saying
these things not to bash any one person but because I truly love the sport and
want to see it grow---
Is there a chance we could see you back in TNA?
Never say never--- I don't like the way they treat some of their wrestlers and
unless certain things were fixed, no, I would not go back--- I have lost money
at the hands of TNA because TNA does not honor promises they make, nor are they
concerned about the individual welfare of their wrestlers---
In an nterview I did with Joe E. Legend back
in October (http://newscott.com/joeelegendoct42004.html) , he was very out spoken
with his views on TNA, what do you think about what he said?
Joe Legend is one of the nicest men I have ever had the privalage of knowing
in or out of wrestling--- Joe is a talented and hard worker--- Wrestling politics
is a terminal cancer for nice guys like Joe--- He comes from a long line of
wrestlers that got back stabbed and lied to courtesy of TNA---
You have worked for Real Action and All-Canadian
Pro Wrestling here in the Maritimes, can you tell us what is was like working
for each?
I enjoyed working for both--- They have a lot of great talent--- If they two
companies got along instead of fighting over scraps they could be a prominent
wrestling territory right now---
Which did you enjoy working for the most?
To me it was the same thing because I worked with the same guys who are awesome
and I'm 10 fold the wrestler I am today because of my time spent wrestling in
the Maritimes--- I did more with ACW and threw any ups and downs I had a tone
of fun---
As of February 26th 2005 how many matches do you
have?
I'm guessing 1000 give or take a couple--- I'm not a weekend worrior, I do this
for a living---I have been lucky to work a lot of tours: England, Puerto Rico,
all over the states and Canada, I wrestled and learned from tones of guys that
tot me a lot: Edge, Christian, King Kong Bundy, Jake the Snake, Slash &
Father Jim Mitchell, Skull Murphy, Bob Holly, Val Venis, Fit Finlay, Steve Keirn,
Ricky Steamboat, Drew MacDonald, Robbie Brookside, American Dragon, Jushin Thunder
Liger, Samoa Joe, Afa & Sika, Samu, Ko Ko B Ware, Jerry Lawler, Kid Kash,
Bill Dundee, Shane Douglas, Jerry Lyn, Scott D'more and Team Canada, Jim Duggan,
Tracy Smothers, Tatonka, Road Worrior Hawk, Terry Taylor, Dusty Rhodes, CM Punk,
Raven, Vampiro, the Havana Pitbulls... I could go on and on!!! I thank them
all---
There is a new promotion in the Maritimes that
starts in May 2005, East Coast Pro Wrestling, have you been contacted to wrestle
for ECPW?
I hope so!!! I haven't terrorized the Martimes in quite a while!!!
What are your thoughts on the whole Ring Of Honor
concept, the feild of honor, the code of honor, pretty much promoting it's product
as more of a sport, then sports entertainment?
Every wrestler has their own oppinions on wrestling--- I like variety: If you
could mix RoH with some 80's Saturdaynight's Mainevent: characters, cruiser
weights, heavy weights, midgets, female wreslters, a valet or two, lucha, strong
style, techincal wrestling, high flying some drama, some commedy, some promos...
I guess I like my wrestling like I like my icecream (Neapolitain) multi-layered---
Which do you think is a better idea brining in
older WWE stars or bringing in top level indy talent (Aj Styles, Chris Daniels
ect.) or a mix of both ?
BOTH: But instead of bringing in names to squash indy guys, just book them more
effeciently to build and rub indy talent and still keep the names strong, because
if not things aren't going to grow long term---
Is there someone out there that you think is too much
of a risk, that you wouldn't get into the ring with?
NO--- I would wrestle any wrestler--- It is my job--- I would be as curtious
and safe in the ring with a stranger, a friend or an enemy---
Have you had any contact with WWE over the past
little while?
I have wrestled for WWE Heat, WWE Velocity and dark matches--- WWE is where
I want to be and I am busy trying to get there!
What has been your best / favourite match in
your career so far?
Wrestling with guys that I grew up watching as a kid is the coolest: Jake the
Snake Roberts & Nigel McGuiness vs Sinn & Doug Williams
Sinn vs Evil Elvis Elliott (Indy worker from Toledo, OH)
Sinn vs Eric Young (Team Canada, TNA)
Both Young and Elliott worked for ACW---
Do you have a favourite road trip story you
would like to tell us ?
The 'Shit Storm' is my favorite story but out of respect for a certain wrestler
I won't extrapulate--- Ask Kingman, he'll be happy to tell you!
I got Flesh Gordon booked on an all-gay wrestling show as an April Fool's joke
one time--- Buddy Pissed!!!
Another time, in Kentucky Slash and I were wrestling at Jimmy Valiant's Boogie
Bash: I was wrestling the local NWA Bluegrass champ... Slash runs in and decks
the guy with the belt, 1,2,3, Ding! Ding ! I win some NWA gold... We both proceed
to Rodney King the shmuck in the ring with us when Dusty Rhodes runs in for
the big save! Dusty challenges Slash and I stick around ringside... Slash distracts
the ref and I bite Dusty's forehead (As I bit him I asked, "How ya doin'
Sir?" to which he responded, "Just fine, baby!" Out of all the
career choices I wind up wearing eye-liner, biting Dusty Rhodes for a living,
how fucked up is that?!) Anyways, Slash eventually gets Dusty in some sort of
Vulcan Death Grip and Dusty is almost out... I yell, "Give up old man!"
Dusty eyes pop open, Dusty and Slash both fight off the urge to crack up laughing...
Dusty starts yelling out," Old man?! Old man?!" and starts Hulking
up! Well, he's the good guy and wins after some bionic elbows and American Dreaming...
Later in the locker room Slash and I are getting changed, Dusty comes rolling
in after signing autograghs saying, "Old man?! If that mutha fucka Sinn
didn't call me an Old fuckin' man I was gonna do the job! (That's wrestling
lingo for throw the fight) Old mutha fuckin' Man?!
Who is your favourite person to get in the ring
with?
Joe Legend, Tyson Dux, Mark Bartoluchi, Rob Fuego,.....
What does the future hold for Sinn?
I wrestle all over the damn place--- and will continue to do so waiting to see
what will come first a WWE contract or death!!!???!!!???
