How did you hear about the Wildman Academy?
I had looked into another school that was starting, but I didn't get the down payment in time. They told Gary about me and I received an e-mail from Cathy
letting me know that Gary was starting the school. I signed up that day. That was in December 2004 and in October of 2005 the school finally started!

Why did you choose that school?
Gary. I had been a fan of his since '97 or '98 and to have the chance to be trained by him was too good to pass up!

Your thoughts on the training and your trainer
People have said a lot of good things about Gary as a trainer, and they are all 100% true. I trust Gary, and that says a lot!!!

What was the hardest part of your training?
I was. I knew how difficult it would be for me to do the things that were needed, being the bigger guy that I am. Proving to myself that I could do
anything we were shown was the hardest, and the most rewarding, part of thetraining.

Why did you want to get involved in the wrestling business?
I'm not sure, the love of it maybe. All I know is that it's in my blood now! I am addicted to it!!!

Your first match was in IHW. Tell us about it
It was a really cool experience for me. I went to a university in Moncton for a year and I didn't return because I wanted to get trained to wrestle. If I didn't
I would have always wondered if I could have. So to get to wrestle my first match in the Moncton area was pretty cool. I felt like I had gone full circle. The IHW guys are all so great too!

Your thoughts on the other 3 people you trained with
A lot of talent. They all have bright careers ahead of them.

When you need advice who is the first person you go to?
I always seek out Gary. I like to go to Steen and Tony too. Of course I like to get Cathy's input. This all goes for wrestling, and things that have nothing to
do with wrestling. Like Steen giving me girl advice, hehehe. New Scott man, you just kept trying to get it on film!

Have your feelings on wrestling changed since you started training ? If yes how?
They have indeed changed, but only for the better. I love this business more and more the longer I'm in it!

What are your goals you wish to complete with wrestling?
Just to become the best wrestler that I can be, and to wrestle for as long as I possibly can.

What has been your favorite moment/ story while training at the Wildman Academy?
I'm not sure I can narrow it down to one. "Everybody Gets Hurt Day" is a favorite memory. The "Last Class" is a favorite too! One of the guys rolling around top less in the snow after being hit in the back by the chair!!!

Who do you feel is the best indy wrestler in Canada?
I don't really want to narrow it down because there is so much talent here.

Which do you think is a better idea brining in older WWE stars or bringing in top level indy talent (Aj Styles, Chris Daniels etc.) or a mix of both ?
Both. The older stars have a lot to teach and the top level indy stars can really draw a crowd.

What are you doing to show the fans that you want to be a respected part of Maritime wrestling?
Training hard. Right now a diet is being made up for me and my workout is being revamped. I want to be known as more then the "big guy form Wildman's school who can move". I'm also studying as much wrestling, both in front of crowds and backstage stuff, as I can to become as good a wrestler as I can possibly be.

If you were able to wrestle anyone past or present who would you pick?
Eddie Guerrero. I always wanted to have a match with him...

Are you currently trying to get booked other places than the Maritimes?
I would most likely go if I was contacted, but at the moment I am not contacting anyone. Right now I'm trying to get as good as I can here in the maritimes while
getting my stuff together to go back to university in the fall. Once I'm all set i will look into it for sure! I'd love to take a trip to Maine before the year is done.

How did you come up with your ring name?
My middle name is Mathew. So I just dropped my last name and added a 'T' and an 'S' to become Aarron Matthews (and yes I really do spell Aarron with 2 A's and 2 R's hehehe)

Your thoughts on the Wrestling With Reality concept
I like it. All 4 of those guys deserve more exposure then they get. As do the other guys who have been shown on it.

What is the biggest lesson you have learned about wrestling so far?
1) Keep your mouth shut and your eyes and ears open
2) The name of the game is respect

Your thoughts on the second class of students that are currently training at the Academy
The are working hard and are a lot of fun. I can't wait to see the big debuts.

What product do you enjoy more ROH, WWE or TNA ?
I've never seen ROH and my TNA experience is very limited since I don't get that channel. So by default I have to say WWE.

Do you watch wrestling any differently now that your trained?
I don't think I could ever go back to watching it the way I used to. I pay more attention to the details of the matches now. I watch each individual move now.

After being trained the right way what are your thoughts on people that do this that are not properly trained?
It dangerous both for themselves and for the person they are wrestling. Don't risk it people. Would you go swimming with Great White Sharks without proper
training? No. Also if you want to go somewhere in wrestling, most people aren't going to give you a second look without proper training.

Any closing comments?
